But, you look at social security and think what the President is telling you, for decades the Democratic party has been saying we will protect Social Security, we have a trust fund that will pay all the benefits. Well, why do they not draw from the trust fund? That is a fiction. They spent the money,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said.
