Ron Johnson for Senate Fundraising Shows Major Momentum

[Oshkosh, WI] Oshkosh manufacturer and U.S. Senate Candidate Ron Johnson announced raising $2,093,557 since its Pre-Primary Report on August 25. Total Third Quarter fund-raising (July 1 through September 30) is $3,321,938. Johnson announced his candidacy on May 17, 2010, and has raised $3,859,429 during the four and a half months since he announced. 21,081 contributors have donated to the Ron Johnson Campaign and the Campaign has received support from all of Wisconsin’s 72 counties showing the true grass-roots nature of the campaign. Seven out of 10 donors live in Wisconsin.

Johnson said he was grateful and honored all of the people who have contributed in support of the campaign. “These are serious times right now, and our nation cannot continue heading in its current direction,” Johnson said. “Voters understand that Senator Feingold has been part of the problem in Washington and his job-killing policies must end. I am proud to have the support of so many Wisconsinites who understand the need for common-sense solutions in Congress in order to create jobs and improve our economy.”
