Outsider Johnson on Tuesday

If you hadn’t heard of Ron Johnson before this year, you probably aren’t in plastics or from Oshkosh. If you haven’t heard about him this year, it’s probably because you don’t have a television set or read political news.

Johnson is one of three candidates remaining for the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin. They all hope to pick off Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold, who is without Democratic opposition in this primary.

Johnson, a decided political outsider, is our pick in the GOP primary. (more…)

Johnson Statement On The 9th Anniversary Of 9/11

Posted September 11, 2010

Oshkosh, WI… On the 9th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks on 9/11, manufacturer and U.S. Senate Candidate Ron Johnson issued the following statement:

“Today we remember the American lives that were lost in the terrorist attacks on 9/11.

For the families and friends who lost someone dear to their heart that day mourn today, we as a country stand with them and support them and promise to never let that loss be forgotten.  We stand with and support the men and women who serve overseas to ensure that such an atrocity will never occur again on American soil, and we remember the families who have lost a loved one fighting this honorable fight.

“Today we recall the way our whole nation united and stood together in the aftermath of these terrorist attacks to reject these extremist ideas and refuse to back down in the face of terrorism.  It is important today to remember that we as a country still stand as one and we continue to share the common love for the freedom and the values that America has to offer.  We have seen that together in the face of adversity, we can overcome any hardship or threat to our nation and we must continue to stand together to ensure that our country only grows stronger.

“While we will continue to go about our everyday lives, let us never forget those who lost so much on this dreadful day and let us continue to remember the men and women overseas who give up so much to continue to fight for our freedoms every day.”
