More Dismal Job Numbers
[Oshkosh, WI] After new unemployment numbers were released today revealing the economy has shed more jobs than expected and unemployment continues to hover at 9.5%, Juston Johnson, Campaign Manager for Ron Johnson for Senate, issued the following statement:
“America’s economic condition simply has not rebounded since passage of Russ Feingold’s trillion dollar stimulus experiment, and families across Wisconsin are still feeling the pain of the recession. The focus of Congress should be to cut spending and keep more money in the pockets of consumers and the private sector to get our economy going again. Wisconsin needs a manufacturer like Ron Johnson in the Senate who has a record of creating jobs and will restore the type of fiscal discipline sorely lacking in Washington.”
