FARROW ENDORSES JOHNSON FOR SENATE

Former Lt. Gov., Waukesha County State Senator Says Johnson is the “Real Deal”

[Madison, WI…]  Oshkosh manufacturer and US Senate candidate, Ron Johnson, today announced the endorsement of former Lt. Governor Margaret Farrow.

Johnson was joined by Lt. Governor Farrow in Madison at the last stop on his statewide tour to officially announce his candidacy to unseat 18-year incumbent Sen. Russ Feingold.  Farrow said Johnson’s entry into the race is shot in the arm for not only Republicans, but all voters who want to bring fiscal accountability and a respect for personal freedoms to Washington.

“Its clear conservatives have been looking for someone who can take the fight to Russ Feingold and win.  Ron Johnson is that candidate.  He’s the real deal,” said Farrow.  “Russ Feingold’s Washington crowd is making it impossible for people to have the opportunity to reap the promise of America like Ron did. After 18 years in Washington, Feingold is out of touch with what it means to work for a living in the private sector.  That’s why he constantly votes for policies that increase the size, scope and cost of government. Wisconsin deserves and can do better with Ron Johnson as our next US Senator.”

Johnson said he was honored to have Margaret Farrow’s endorsement, and he welcomed her leadership on his campaign to bring honesty and transparency to fix the mess in Washington.

“Because many of our politicians have been so grotesquely irresponsible, we have a huge financial mess ahead of us. We cannot afford to keep our heads in the sand any longer,” Johnson said.  “I am a business owner with a background in accounting. I have that perspective. I will be a citizen legislator.  We have enough professional politicians in Washington. It’s about time we send someone to Washington who can count.”

Johnson, 55, owns PACUR, Inc., an Oshkosh-based manufacturing facility that specializes in a variety of plastics manufacturing for medical, commercial and industrial purposes.
